1. Using the 'Find an organic business Search now!' facility

To perform a refined search of our website directory, use the simple 3-step search facility in the 'Find an organic business' section at the top of every page.

STEP 1: Type your search item into the blank 'keyword' box

Narrow your search to include only the 'root' or shortened form of the product or service you are searching for. Remember - you do not have to include the word 'organic' in your search phrase.

STEP 2: Select the category(ies) you would like to search

There are 3 main categories available to search: Business Activities, Product Groups and Countries.

Each category has a number of sub-category options. Beginning with 'Business Activities' the categories, together with their sub-category options, are listed in the drop-down menus to the right of the 'keyword' box.

Selecting an option from one or more of the 3 drop-down menus focuses your search on that area of our website directory.

STEP 3: Click the Search now! button to perform your search

2. Using Browse Links

You can browse the Business Activity listings by clicking your desired activity from the list shown on the 'Browse Links' page.

3. Interpreting your search results

Your search results will be grouped and displayed according to Business Activity and then sorted alphabetically by business name.

For each business, your search results will display the following information:

• Business name.
• Location - i.e. the countries in which the business has operations.
• Business description - a short description of the business' main activities. This description will usually be in English if the website has an English language option. However, if the website is NOT available in English, the description will be in the language native to the business.
• Icons that indicate whether the site contains useful industry information and/or whether you are able to buy or sell directly through the website.
• Flags which indicate the language options the site is available in.

You can view the individual business' website by clicking on the business name. The website will appear and you will be able to browse their site. The Links Organic header will remain, allowing you to return to your search results at any time. You will also be able to vote on the site you are viewing by clicking the 'Like this Site' icon.
